Venue

The CMMR 2016 will be held in the University of São Paulo, at IME - Institute of Mathematics and Statistics.

Arriving at the IME building

You can find IME at Google maps here! Use this link if you plan to come by car (e.g. with Waze).

If you are staying anywhere near Paulista and Consolação Avenues, you may take the CMMR Bus from Ibis São Paulo Paulista (Av. Paulista 2355), departing 8:30 each morning and going to IME. The same bus is going back from USP to Paulista each afternoon at 18:30.

If you decide to come by Subway/Bus, the University of São Paulo (USP) is relatively close (30-minute walk) to the subway line 4 (yellow), Butantã station, from where it may be reached by two connecting bus lines called "Circular 1" (8012) and "Circular 2" (8022).

The Brasiliana Library - CMMR 2016 Concert Hall

Concerts #1 and #3 will be held at the concert hall of the Brasiliana Library, a mere 10-minute walk from IME.

Places to eat

The Sweden restaurant is located inside the FEA building, a 5-minute walk from IME, and serves lunch using a pay-for-weight system (downstairs) and also an all-you-can-eat buffet (upstairs). The Brasiliana building (see above) has also another nice restaurant, inside the EDUSP bookstore. Simpler/cheaper lunch options are available at the FAU building and the Civil Engineering building.

Banks

You can find the following banks in "the bank block", a 7-minute walk away from IME: Banco do Brasil, Bradesco, Itaú and Santander.
